In underground mines all the equipment is very compact. This means that the space and clearance around the tyres and fenders is very limited, and traditional tyre hands therefore cannot get a firm grip of the tyres.

With the Easy Gripper this issue is solved. The Easy Gripper can be delivered with an optional flat top gripping pipe that solves the issue with limited tyre clearance between tyre and fender. With the unique 3-point grip the 2 bottom pipes hold the tyre below the fender, and the top pipe can easily be changed to a flat one, which can get in anywhere.

Special and unique ring handling tools are another exclusive feature that is only available with an Easy Gripper. The ring handling tools are mounted on the end of the gripper pipes, and enables the tyre fitter to handle Locking Rings, O-Rings, Side Rings and Bead Seat Bands in a safe and secure manner. The tools grip, hold, press, or place the tyre, rim and rings as needed - a major improvement of safety and efficiency!

An Easy Gripper is not only useful for mounting and dismounting tyres and wheels. It can also be used for handling tyre logistics, such as picking up or placing tyres and wheels in stacks in warehouse and workshop areas, or load them onto a trailer. The 90° tilt function - horizontal to vertical, makes it easy to grip a tyre lying on the floor and stack tyres or tilt a tyre up to vertical position.
